Quoted from YeOldPinPlayer:

$150 each = $24,000. I doubt the local market can absorb 160 pins. You add $300 shipping and almost none are worth getting. It's a fine collection. I bet you'll see a bunch of them at TPF for $950 each. xerico will probably have a whole row of them for sale.

If I had $5,000 to spend at this auction, I bet I could get enough of these to have a row at TPF.

If you are buying 3-4 of these machines, then it might be worth the trip and additional cost.
A 6x12 U-Haul trailer costs $40 each day and could easily fit 6-8 EM machines.

My only issue is that Tulsa is a good 5.5 hour one way drive from Dallas. Gas alone will cost me about $120-$140. If Rented a trailer, that would be another $40. I'm close to $200 without even guaranteeing that I would get a desired machine.

It's a risky proposition for sure. But some of those titles, especially the Pre-War bagatelles, are very tempting indeed.

Quoted from Damonator:

Luckily this just happened to be 5 miles from my house.
I'll be a little disappointed if I don't come home with a few pre-wars, but honestly I'm just excited to see some of my pinball buddies, hang with like-minded folks and watch the crazy unfold.
Did I mention that there's a Hideaway Pizza in the Fontana? (an Oklahoma favorite)

Want a partner to split the cost of a few pre-wars? If so, send me a PM.

Quoted from too-many-pins:

... It will be interesting to hear from you guys that made the trip - keep us posted! If my memory is correct you are two hours behind us here on the east coast?

Central Time Zone is 1 hour behind Eastern Time Zone.
