    This was a good idea...
I know most of these good guys...always eager to meet new-good guy, local Pinsiders.

I'm Eric, reside in Peabody MA....and my collection is admittedly in a state of flux right now...but I will be hosting a social before June ends. If you want an invite when I do host, send me a PM.

    RIP: Skimo.
Pretty pooch that will be missed.

Have fun in Allentown-- to those fortunate enough to be going.

    Quoted from Langless28:

I did not know Canobie had a pinball room. That looks really cool.

    It's new this year.
The massive problem will be the admission for the people who want to go to the pin area only.
Park needs to address that - $5-$10 non ride pass, for instance, otherwise it's destined to fail sadly.

    Quoted from renodakota:

    Hey everyone,
I'm heading east and will be staying in Gloucster for about a week.
I've been to the Salem Willows and am planning a day to get over to Pinball Wizard in NH.
Anything else Pinball related within an hour or two of Cape Anne I should check out?
I'm driving so i can get around.
Thanks and I can't wait to be back in Mass again.

renodakota - go to lanes and Games in Cambridge Mass - but do not go through the metro Boston city area to get there.
    128/95S to Exit 29 - Route 2 East.
9 perfectly shopped titles - all Stern - including GB, KISS, and GOT.

    Quoted from dmarston:

Bear in mind that Canobie Lake Park is in Salem, New Hampshire, not Salem, Massachusetts. Non-New-Englanders often mistake the two. Salem Willows and all the witch stuff is in Salem, MA.
Also consider Salisbury Beach, MA (the extreme Northeastern corner of MA, on the NH border). Joe's Playland is usually good.
    .................David Marston

Joe's sucks now - they finally threw in the hat about 4 years ago.
Stopped swapping out games regularly, and more important - stopped shopping what they have.
The Avengers has been on location now for 2 years with broken Hulk drop targets, Family Guy and IndyJ4 are unplayable they're so bad, and they never - ever - update any codes. Whatever code is in the game when they get it will be the final code forever.

To this day - the only arcade I've seen where they had ACDC and Tron, and took them out.
Damn shame - was once a good year round locale for me - but do not waste a trip now.

    Quoted from lllvjr:

What else is left at Salem willows

The entire 2016 Salem Willows lineup - with one word current playable condition IMHO.

    T2 - OK.
    Getaway - good.
    Cyclone - very good.
Funhouse - OK - very easy to play.
    Monopoly - good.
    Sopranos - OK.
    Star Wars Ep1 - I never play

    Playboy (Bally78) - OK
    EM's
    Miss O - Good
    Bank a Ball - OK
    Drop a Card - Good
    King of Diamonds - Good
    3 x Baseball EM games - Operational.

The place is better than nothing, and you cannot beat the $9 Chinese food that's actually really good.

Update on L&G...announced locally today. Probably a thread out there here too..

Lanes & Games in Cambridge has removed all pinballs, in preparation for their eventual closure due to sale of property, namely the bowling alley and the surrounding land.

    This is a sad day.
These games were kept in impeccable playing condition, like from a high volume arcade in 1981.
And they rotated the new games, and others, in and out regularly.
    Brought back memories...

    Thank you WeenerMan-
I only hope the guy who takes over does half as well-
