Back in the club!!!

Real dirty Franky, but the areas around the flippers buttons are pretty nice. Touched up a bit and put Mylar to protect going forward.

Picked this guy up over a month ago. Been cleaning him up and getting everything to work. Going to leave the dmd black and white for a bit. Have a pin sound board to install.

Decided to leave GI’s and some of the flashers incandescent. Inserts and some select flashers led. I like this effect on this game and the LEDs seem to pop more.

Fun game.

Has any one figured out a good match for touching up the black paint on the head? I have tried several different combinations and for some reason cannot seem to get the match.

Quoted from Merendino:

Just joined the club last week! I don't have the manual handy, any tips how to safely remove Frank from the playfield so I can fix the rotating head issue?
Also, any ideas where to find the original piece that surrounds the lever at it's base which connects to the cab (that launches the ball)
Thanks in advance!

Just fixed the rotating head issue myself. Pretty easy.

First off, the manual can be found on line just by a simple google search. IDPB is where I found the one I reference.

There is a screw down through the top of his head and two more screws in the lower part of the body in the front and the back that need to be removed. You can then lift the body and get to the servo. I bought my servo from Marco. You may need to reverse two wires to the connector. If you look a few pages back in this thread you will see discussions about doing that as well.

If its not the servo maybe the control board under the play field. I believe they can be found on line as well. But the smart people recommend trying the Servo first. In my case that is what the problem was.

Good luck
