Obviously cpr must make the playfields sold on Marcos website. I'm just wondering what quality (gold, silver, bronze) they are. Trying to decide who I should order a cyclone playfield from.

Thanks!

Why don't you email or better yet call Marco Specialties and ask? You can also do the same with their distributor Starship Fantasy. Good luck with your pf swap.

Any time I've inquired from Marcos, they were silvers.

Buy the cheapest one you can from any of them and send it to Kruzman. You'll have to do it no matter which one you buy so why not save some money upfront? Trust me.

Is the clear coat on reproduction playfields really that bad where you have to send it out to an outside service to be redone?

I guess it depends on how OCD you are?

Yes. No offence to CPR...but everyone ive had in my hands needed additional clearcoat. Dayhuff is right.

CPR does a better clearcoat than CCC ever did for Williams.

But, if you want that **sheet of glass** look, you have to tweak it.

Think of a new car, the paint is fine for 95% of the people. But if you want a Show Car glass look, you have to block out the orange peel.......

Not to mention registration is all over the place and insert height is sometimes a issue too as well as color... Basically it's a crap shoot on what you'll get so for me paying top dollar for what they consider the best (I can't even remember anymore...gold, bronze, silver???) is still not up to mine or many people's standards when paying $600+ for a playfield and it ends up going to Kruzman no matter what. Money we'll saved and money we'll spent in the end.

Nice thanks everybody for replying! Skins your probably right that there silver cause there close in price. I'll call for sure if I do order one. What's the cost for getting them reclearcoated if anybody knows?

My experience with Marco on CPR playfields has been Silver Playfields @ the Gold price.
It is good that they have stock of them when they do dry up elsewhere though but I really do wish they had a better description on the site.

Don't quote me or anything but for a Kruzman figure on spending another $600ish ?? You'd have to talk to the man directly.
