Anyone else notice flipper return springs purchased recently from Marco aren't quite on the mark? I installed a brand new 10-376 spring in one of the mechs on my Big Guns and noticed it is not quite the right diameter on the wide/solenoid side, with about 1/8" of slop within the confines of the retaining protrusions of the solenoid bracket. This means it can get off center from the plunger and cause binding during the last bit of travel when the linkage hits the stacked up coils of the spring. The other three mechs in the table have new springs from an older Marco batch (included in rebuild kits, I robbed the fourth earlier which is why I have a bag of newer stock 10-376 now ) which fit securely centered by the bracket and do not have this binding issue.
Pics attached illustrating the difference.
