I have mando LE and rush pro and can tell you both are very great hence why I have them both. Rush is faster, and over time I feel will get more repetative, and if you tire out listening to the same track of songs over and over and over again, this will become a problem. I hate fly by night and cannot tolerate listening to it, but all other songs are awsome.
If you remove the theme and base it off gameplay, the rush is more approachable and fast, and requires a touch more attention to aim your shots, the time machine produces a very unique feel each time it grabs the ball. The new 088 code will more aggressivly pull the ball thru the time machine when there is an award on the other side. This is a very under rated feature in general, totally a fun shot. It is a new game to me so the excitment is still there.
Mando again if you remove the theme and just talk about shots and flow, is also a good flowing machine but the playfield is less wide open and long. More ramps and toys to hit, so it is more of a shoot in a specific order type of game. Some people find the tilting mini playfield a total gimmick but it is also very rewarding and fun feature in my opinion. Not overkill by any means.
BTW unlike most stern pro games, rush is just about the only one.... or part of a handful of machines that you will not feel cheated buying. The experiance is still there. Mando or Star Wars pro I feel the buyer is getting cheated by how stripped down the game is.
