OK I have a problem with the term "mancave" and especially with the term "womancave". Can't we come up with a better term???
Call it a "Collector's Ode To Obsession" for all I care!

I have covered my walls in classic arcade marquees. I just got a new batch that I have yet to hang, but pictures are included.
A few playfields: Panthera and ST:TNG are on the wall. The Xenon playfield has since been traded away, to be restored and live again in a machine, as the universe intended. Captain Fantastic is forthcoming.
Backglass of Cleopatra was recently purchased, to be mounted.
Print from Tehching Hsiesh proudly on the wall for all the conceptual artist fans. (woot woot)

and on the main room walls, some of my favourite records.

Behind the games are more old Bond posters.

I have this rolling ball sculpture in my games room. Better than watching a fish tank, and more relaxing.

Love that stuff! But, to get one like that it cost $2k or more....unless you have a connection...

    Quoted from Tsskinne:

I had a 007 poster signed by George Lazenby at an unrelated convention once. Won the poster in a trivia contest and then they had him outside signing stuff so I had him sign that.

I believe he's the only bond to play bond a single time.

The poster was of course "On her Majesty's Secret Service", but I haven't hung it yet. Got it nicely framed though.

Yep his one and only Bond film, not great, not terrible....my dad took me to see Goldeneye when I was like 10 years old or so, and after that he and I watched all the old Bond movies and still go see the new ones together when they get released. It is kind of our thing and I love it. Sean Connery is still the best, but realistically I love all the movies for what they are....a very interesting way to look at how things have changed in the world is to just watch the Bond movies in chronological order.

Way back, in the Bond Collecting 16 & 35mm Film days, OHMSS was always a Bond favorite. After You Only Live Twice and Goldfinger, it's my favorite.

    #157 10 years ago

    Goldfinger is definitely my favorite.

No connection, just paid full price. The amount of work that goes into them and the joy of watching make it worthwhile. Check out his work on youtube - david morrell rollingball sculptures

Printed out some pinball patent graphics and threw them in some cheap Ikea frames! They look pretty cool, once I move I think I'm going to go a little bit bigger. I just searched for "pinball" on Google patents to find them.

My wall art is mostly advertising and neon clocks, some signs and pinball posters sign by the game designers. Work shop is loaded up with more signs and clocks.

Good name for the villain too! Though he spells it without the h. My life would be full of a lot less bad guesses without that h ...

I always bring over flow to Allentown Pinfest. I am always in the back row all the way to the right near the restrooms. I will have a full trailer as always.

    #173 10 years ago

    I will be there! Thanks!

hmmm looked it up and the graphics on it don't do much for me.
My criteria for marquees is ones that I enjoyed that also have great art, preferably not gun/war related. (Out Zone is the only one I have with a gun on it)

    #175 10 years ago

Cool Looking barn. The attack of the 50' woman sign is cool! Looking forward to seeing your pins at Pinfest.
