Has anyone ever come across any of the Mali home model pinball machines? Mali is the big pool table cloth and cue stick manufacturer. In the late 70's they contracted Brunswick (their billiards competitor! ) to build them home model pinball machines. They were the basic early Brunswick/Briarwood single player solid state machines but with new artwork. There were six Mali pinball machine models:

    Diamond Jim
    Big Rig
    Snow Bird
    Hot Dogger
    Wheeler Dealer
    Space Galaxy

There is surprisingly little-to-no information, pictures, or manual out there regarding these machines. Anyone have any pictures or manuals that I can add to pinwiki?

Thanks for posting. I've never seen the insides of a Mali made machine. There seems to be a lot more assemblies under the playfield than the typical Brunswick machine.

Somebody needs to get that service manual scanned (with 600 dpi scanning of the schematics). It's likely the only copy out there!

    Someone please get that manual.

I see it uses conventional rollovers and normal standup switches. Something that the Sentinel / Wonder Wizard machines did not have.

    It also has 4 slingshots.

The craigslist post has been deleted. I sure hope somebody got that manual and scanned it. Even more, I hope somebody got the circuit boards and photographed them in detail.

Sorry Ken, I missed out on it.

I would have scanned that manual and done a digital cleanup on it. Then I would have posted it on pinwiki and be able to write up some more repair information in the Brunswick/Briarwood/Mali section.
