    I'd caution you using alligator clips on any of the breakers over 5A or so.
    The wire you use might not handle the load, especially if you have a short that would normally blow the fuse.
    The wire becomes the fuse (weakest link) and melts before the breaker trips.

    I'd use some nice thick wire rather than the crappy stuff that is attached to the alligator clips when you buy them.

    Also a note to anyone using alligator clips for any reason: Pull the rubber sleeves back and solder the wire to the clip. It is ultra rare the wires are soldered. They're usually barely crimped on, and sometimes by just a few strands.
