Thanks for posting this @mcbpalisade. I'm a fan of DIY. Sometimes you need a specific part (in this case, an LED) and it's fun to just slap it together, because unlike so many others in this hobby, "YOU CAN DO IT".
Sure, if I needed a bunch of these, I would place an order (more efficient), but for a couple, or just one, I'm right with you on the DIY.
