I have been watching the Wild, Wild West original series on dvd recently and have thought it would make a terrific theme for a modern pin with lcd screen. Gadgets, music, action, 4 quadrant screen for the commercial breaks, goofy villians, pretty women and a train. (I am certainly not referring to the awful movie with Will Smith and Kevin Kline. The writers/producers seemed like they were out to parody the original rather than honor the original series.)
    Any thoughts, Stern or JJP?

poppa you don't know the series if you give that for a link. you could have a train go by that they ride in and a lower level since they could flip over on the builliard table and get out under the train. the train had secret closets and passage that could open up. jim always had the girls. the villian would be migelito lovelace with his girl

    Yeah,
I know the series, watched the original. Just don't think every old show should be made into a pin.

Haven't seen the movie (1999) in a while, but maybe that would appeal to a larger audience?

I would NOT buy a pin based on the movie. It was awful. Just base it on the original series and take some artistic license with how the pretty girls are attired. Problem solved.

Take a look at your collection. Some pretty weak movies/series there

I hear ya though. If we're spending 7k it had better have some appeal!

the pinball machine I would like to see is one based on gerry anderson ufo. the saucers would lend to bumpers really well. could have a mode of launching skydiver. you could launch a ball and call them the interceptors and gabrielle drake would look great on the table. sid could do the call outs

Original series.... Dr Loveless was a great villain. But before WWWest, we need Jonny Quest.

Just looked it up. I hadn't heard Robert Conrad past this month.
I've been busy, but didn't think that busy. When a kid, for me,
"The Fugitive" and "Wild Wild West" were #1 & 2..

My brothers and I used to mimic the WWW fight scenes in our living room right along with them during the show. We trashed the house!

I just looked at what I have listed (not always up to date). The only weak movie is JM but the pin is terrific. If you think that any of the Star Trek, IJ, X-Files, LotR or Hobbit movies or series are “weak”, I would disagree. Not sure what you are referring to, but you are entitled to your opinion.
However, The Wild Wild West movie appeared to go out of its way to trash a fun, memorable 1960’s tv series.

Yeah, it looks like you removed any I was thinking. I'm a big nerd, so Star Trek, X-Files, etc is fine by me. Sci-Fi is kinda take what you're given.

I would second Firefly. Such a great show. Damn you Fox!

You must have been looking at someone else’s. I have not changed my game list in over a year.

I just bought a Wild Wild West. Moved it down to the basement yesterday to start cleaning it up. The cabinet is pretty rough, backglass has a little bit of flaking, but the playfield is pretty solid. Come check it out some time!
