@malenko:
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING JOB!!!
I'm back on track!!!
Still not with the speed i prefer, but anyways better than staying in hospital.
I think that i can hold my schedule, but please don't be angry with me if it might take 2-3 days longer to ship...
To answer some concerns about which colorization might be better @malenkos or @taxmans:
There's no "better" or "uglier" it's all about personal taste.
If malenko publishes T2 the same as SFii you might be able to change some things to you personal likings
But that requires you to learn a bit about pin2dmd-editor by steve45 !
https://bintray.com/sker65/pin2dmd/Editor2#files
Another question is saw was about the visible gap between the two panels:
It's only due to missalignment, my sets have screws on their back to fine-tune the alignment of both panels.
It is sometimes caused by bad habbits of the shipping companies, throwing parcels right through a van to save some time.
When my cftbl is working again (blown rectifier), i can put up a installation tutorial, but like malenko already stated in his video it's fairly simple
Greets and happy gaming
Dom
To be precise about that registration/unlocking thing:
I can not make that donation for you!
But once you ordered your set
1. I would send you your personal serial number
2. you donate to lucky1 containing that particular serial and once you receive your unlocking key
3. send that to me.
4. I would then unlock it so that you only have to install the dmd in your pinballs.
Quoted from Chitownpinball:I cant do it. Im too broke. Freakin sucks. Maybe there will be another opportunity.
Don't worry!
There maybe will be another groupbuy, but whenever you have the funds take a look into my pinside shop
Quoted from Malenko:And the files arent going anywhere, so you're not on any kind of time limit.
I love that SFII is getting this much attention, but kinda sad no one seems to care about T2 :/

I'm sure people will notice
I have some european customers that can't wait until you finsih it... none of them are pinsiders.
And they all said they will honor your work!!!
It seems my mailprogram has cut the link into 2 parts for some receipients.
Please make sure to paste everything manually to your browser
seems like i need a dedicated thread for the next group buy?!
There will be one within the next 2-3 weeks but before i have to finish this one and the other orders i have... The sega panels gathered a huge amount since I revealed they can do 16 colors with pin2dmd-xl
Quoted from ImNotNorm:Any idea on a shipping date Dom?
Shipping starts this week and takes normally 4-10 working days. You'll be sent a shipping message and a link where you can track your parcel.
Quoted from cabuford:Yes please! Or can we sign up somehow?
I start a new thread soon, and will inform you here and in other related threads as well, but I really need to catch up with actual orders first.
The provided power supply is capable of using any input from 6 to 32 Volts so there are some options
Most important is amperage and fuses used on the power line you use! Since the panels could theoretically draw up to 7 amps (in fact the ofter use less than 1A) a decent supply is strongly recommended.
Maybe its best to use the 18V/20V power line for flashers, but i'm not 100% certain about that. Maybe Malenko would be No.1 source of knwoledge
It's ok but you really don't need to!
I have already a lot of installs without additional power supplies... all work flawlessly.
Quoted from freddy:It's here!
This looks a little squashed...
Somehow I have serious doubts it's not damaged.
If there's still demand i could initiate another groupbuy.
please send me an email to info@germangamingsupplies , subject SF.
Shipping worldwide at very reasonable shipping rates incl. tracking
That is absolutely possible.
I have noticed that on different ROMs animations look slightly different. This causes the system to not trigger correctly.
If different dumpfiles are available to work with, the creator of the colorization can fix it.
That's also the point why for example Colordmd suggest to use the latest/actual ROM.
This is the same for pin2dmd, but with option to add things later.
The red strand should direct to the opposite side...
It always indicates the pin1 on these cables, but here it is on pin14. If you turn the other end around, it might work.
Could you provide a picture of the other end of your cable and the connector of your display driver board?
Seems like it's not using the palettes provided by malenko.
The files in this post will help you:

Copy both pin2dmd.pal and pin2dmd.fsq to your micro-sd card. These 2 files do the "magic"!
My shop can now handle overseas order also
This is the right category for all pin2dmd related stuff on my shop:
