I updated the code to .95 and it seemed to power up correctly. ....But it was still having the missing ball issue. I got under the hood to inspect further and discovered a random bolt was jammed up into the coil! No idea where it's from, but once taken out, the game now fires up and plays great. I played 20 issue-less games so far. Now I just need to update to the 1.2 code and rock n roll!
I can say now the game plays fast and smooth. The sound is amazing and the LED's look amazing! Thanks everyone for the trouble shooting and concern. I'm going to try and bang out a ton of games tonight to make sure all is cool.

sorry but there is no excuse for this. that is pretty bad qc. so yes there will be issues with "some" nib, but stuff like this is totally unacceptable, should have been discovered/corrected at the factory.

I like the way the op who paid over 5k for their pin is called out for this qc issue. no loose hardware should be in a pinball cab, it could cause a short and maybe even a fire in the game.
