At this moment i am back from the US . Rebuild several Magic Girls into a complete working game . Chris from Cointaker was very happy. Also a Magic Girl in San Francisco is now fully working . Everybody happy .
Only one customer didn’t show up … crying that he been scammed in the past and wanted to pick up a full kit at Cointaker’s and pay cash . All the time a big mouth and at the end we had to ship the kit back … thanks Dan for being so thankful and for al the radio silence. Hope you get what you wished for .
Just returned from the uk pinball show pinfest with comrep where we took another fully working magic girl for free play over the weekend. On for 43 hours or so again.
Many nice comments again. I think this picture below describes it best. No need to say anything else

Congrats on finding a way to have the project live on and develop, sans jpop

That's because unlike Jpop the community isn't unfathomably lazy.

Jpop briefly discussed here:
A reminder if you played the mg at last years pinball expo and you have time please leave a rating/comment here:

I am still wanting to get it entered into the top 100 game list and 50 reviews are needed. Hundreds of people have now played it fully working in 3 countries

I did, and I don't think you want my rating.

Strange, the overall reception was very positive actually. I guess you didn't tell me in person.. If you don't like it still, that's ok.
You guys should get nothing but positive feedback ...
Taking a box of lights and making it functional is way and beyond.
Wish I would have chance to play this !

I will be at pinball expo again this year and I believe there will at least 1 game to play and it will be running my latest software. (v0.9.0) (which we also used at uk Pinfest)
Please stop by and try it out/find me for a chat if you want to know something. We have a seminar on Saturday afternoon to if you want a relaxed presentation/chat about the last years work, new things found etc haha

As mentioned, I think it's cool how you are making this thing work. Is it a business for you now too? I know you got screwed over bad by Jpop, and saw the mention of machines possibly being for sale. Would love for this to have a happier ending.
It's an interesting situation of an abandoned project for an oft-passed-around ip. Curious of the inner workings. Like have you or any of the others involved in the project been in touch with Chris Turner?

Always been a business endeavour for me, just didn't except to be still working on it 11 years later... Went though some tough times initially after invoices were not paid at zidware, but I got through it and I ended up with a full MG game eventually. So all worked out ok. I also have no bad feeling towards John any longer. Life is too short.
I always said I would continue to try and improve the game and only with the help of the Dutch guys was this possible to make a real difference. You would need to ask the Dutch guys regarding Turner.
Some files for those interested..
