Recently found two moving boxes full of old MADs at my parents house, during their move. I told my kids how funny they were, and that I read them cover to cover at their age. Yawn. Maybe I can sell them on eBay.

MAD and Wacky Packages shaped my sense of humor, scepticism and pointed cynicism. The culture today doesn’t get it. They celebrate money, selling out, corporate greed and a military that runs roughshod wherever it wants.
There no room for MAD magazine in a world that embraces authority and questions nothing.
