Yep that’s why Mad is going tits up alright.
Say, when was the last time you bought one? Or any magazine?
My subscription just ended. I think I paid $2 for two years worth through a Groupon or something. Wasn’t the same as the Mad from my youth. Still, sad to see it go.

Agee totally
Quoted from Manimal:A Spy Vs Spy Pin would have been a blast......literally.
Attention Charlie Emery!!!!!!!
Brother, please make this game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have to think it’s pretty unlikely any pinball company is keen on a theme that just went tits up 24 hours ago due to multi-generational indifference.
Not to mention in the LCD era this game would be a nightmare to produce content for.

Was just a personal opinion. It's not a theme anyone is going to make outside of maybe a home brew. I would love to see a Monty Python pin as well, but no one is going to do that either. Guess I will hold out hope for JAWS

They will never make a Mad Magazine game, everyone knows that but alot of people just lost a big part of their youth and it sucks and theres a part of me personally that is sad because of it. As dumb as it may sound, Mad was a big part of a lot of peoples lives. Mad magazine was awesome.

Have been remembering Mad and Cracked magazines, since the announcement. I really want a Mad pinball too because of my attachment to theme. So many great things to incorporate into a pin. The adult in me knows gameplay and the lcd content would stink. Much cheaper to buy someone’s collection of magazines and read them.
These covers should answer two key questions: Was Mad Magaine relevant? and What Me Worry? I only remember seeing two of these before. I’d forgotten how cheap the early year editions were.

I remember gleefully finding a new month’s arrival at the grocery store. Never knew what to expect, but whatever was on the cover was trending. Mad magazine reflected Us back on ourselves.

Sad news... I've got over a year left on my subscription. Some of the content has started to feel a little uninteresting, but they still hit it out of the park on occasion and the art is always fantastic. Interesting that Mad hasn't been embraced by the next generation, particularly with the resurgence of comics over the last 15 years. I suppose that tells you something.

Why not, they have themes that died 50+years ago
Quoted from Marvin:Why not, they have themes that died 50+years ago
That’s the point. This theme died 2 days ago.
Check back in 50 years.
Saw this at the grocery store and it is compiled in 2019. Table of contents shows material dating back to 1962. Enjoying my Mad magazine this morning. It has all the stylized articles and charts that make me Mad (happy). Was going to put in the office gift exchange today, but want to read it first, so will be keeping it this year.
