i was looking at a machine that needs a good shop out (strip the field, cleaning metal and plastics, new rubbers, etc). the very back of the cab had gotten a little water damage, but nothing i care too much about. i saw a little corrosion on a ramp switch and a magnet. the components under the playfield and boards all looked good. really only concerned if the corrosion could be a sign of bigger, more expensive issues. the price is about right for a project machine, but don't want to go broke getting it up to good playing condition.

so are you saying it's probably a sign that the connectors and boards are probably suspect? i could take a closer look next time.
