Hi all,
Wondered if anyone had any advice on choosing a machine to sit next to my JD. Looking for something a bit slower with longer ball times - the only way I'm going to get away with this is if the wife enjoys playing it!
Cheers!
Thank you for the suggestions- yeah, BOP is a good shout - I've only played it on the xbox live arcade and as you say I remember it being easy to pick up from a progression standpoint.
She seemed to be drawn to Diner for some reason when we visited the Hall of Fame in Vegas (didn't get a game in on it myself) but wonder if that could be an option. There's one finishing on ebay UK for £1,000 in a few hours time...
Roadshow is a great game for the money and slower paced. Congo is not the easiest to find, but a great game for all skill levels.
Party Zone I feel is a really fun title that doesn't get much credit. The ball times are above average and the theme is colorful and fun.

Surprisingly fun game liked by kids and women but tends to be a little easy for a more seasoned player. Better in a larger collection. JMO.
If your wife likes Diner, and one has come up at a fair price near you, definitely go for it.
There are a lot of good games out there. Having a chance to get one you know the wife likes is a lucky break, though.
Thanks very much for the suggestions guys... Missed out on that Diner unfortunately so will keep an eye out for some of these other titles instead. Really appreciate the input!

Ditto on WW...also Fish tales and Creature are big with the fems.

Can't go wrong with Whirlwind. I love it. Diner is great, but WW is an absolute classic and edges out Diner in terms of gameplay, layout, and theme. The game is also very immersive with the whole storm vibe (fan, spinning discs, etc).
