Those prices are for a bag of 100 screws. Example: 4-40 x 1/4" long are just $1.84 for a bag of 100.
I believe there is a typo error on the price of 6-32 x 1/2" long ones. No way should it be $25.24 for a bag of 100. I think it is supposed to be $2.52. Someone should call that to their attention.
My buddy Welby Bergum usually buys 5 bags of 100 for each size we usually use. Sure makes things pop with shiny new screws installed. Coin doors use lots of 6-32 x 1/4" and 8-32 x 1/4" SEMS screws.
