I got a LW3 that was reimported and the flipper mechs were just destroyed and had mis matched coils and the whole works. I ordered all the replacement parts from Marco/pinball life, using part numbers from the manual. I replaced the following:
Flippers
Flipper bats
Bushings
Coils
Coil stops
Coil sleeves
Return springs
Return spring brackets.

After rebuild they work just fine however if i set the flippers on the play field markers in the hold position the flippers won't even achieve enough angle to hold the ball? its like the flipper travel isn't enough. I double checked everything and all seems to work right as it should but there is just no travel?If i manipulate the flipper mech by hand everything feels fine but still not enough travel. I am stumped anyone have any ideas.

I thought about that but when I manually operate the flipper end of the bat ends very near the mouth of the coil sleeve so in that respect it looks like they are traveling as far as possible.
