Hello all
I am I'm the process of picking up a very nice LW3 at a good price. I've been noticing in pics. Some of the ball launch guns are black, some appear chrome. Which is original? Either more desirable?
The game I'm looking at has a black gun and in know it has "Multi-Ball" ROMS, not that Tri-ball deal. Thinking it's an early run.
Mainly just curious; I know.the game isn't a collectible.

I believe the gun should be black. The chrome ones I believe we're black but it came off (at least in the one I had). I'd feel black is more desirable since it should show less wear overall.
The Tri-ball is just the newer ROM's so not really adding value or necessarily an early run but sounds like you have earlier ROMS if it comes up as Multiball. 
I don't think the chrome ones are just black with paint worn off
I have seen many LW3 that have a chrome shooter plus chrome plastic over shooter lane that has the flasher bulb or black shooter with black plastic over shooter lane
Plus on the flyer it shows also
Might have changed it due to cost but cannot confirm this
