Just looked in the "price guide" Marco was selling at RMPS while I was there. Luci is listed at $6995.

Hmm. I wonder how many "loaded" Lucis are out there? I consider mine "loaded" with Helen translite and instruction cards, Pinbits bolts, PMD LCD, Laseriffic topper, powered external sub, and superbands. Still want to add bell mod, cannon mod, and speaker inserts/lights. Might add shaker, but I don't want gameplay to be impacted. Also have new playfield and original parts that were removed for mods.
Quoted from Concretehardt:You just need a color DMD
I want to get the lightning bolts are the pinbits the best bolts?
I can't stand the color dmds. As far as bolts go, IMO pinbits are best. They look stock, not cheesy, and are BRIGHT, changes the game.
Quoted from j_m_:in my opinion, machines without a color display (for those that a color solution is available) is like watching black & white tv
Too busy watching the ball to care about colored dots... Especially for the price.
Quoted from RobertWinter:My NIB Luci is waiting to be loaded.
Don't forget an external sub! Best $$$ I've put towards this game.
Quoted from Warbound:How did you get a hold of a spare Luci P.F.? Direct from Stern? Follow up, why have a spare playfield? Are you a distant thinker and protecting for a swap 10, 20 years from now? Are you routing your Luci and will swap once enough $$$ is made?
TX in advance, just curious.
My window had a blemish that should have never made it to a production game. It's there. It sucks. It doesn't affect gameplay, so I'm playing the shit out of it.
Stern sent me the spare after months of sending them pics.
Quoted from bigdaddy07:Shaker is a MUST for this game. For the impact it adds to the multiball start alone, its worth the addition.
Just ordered one. About fell out of my chair when I saw them on pinball life for $125. Last I checked they were going for $200.
I have just added more mods to mine. It is now a $15k machine. $17k if I get an AC/DC cover band to sign the instruction cards.
I could give a shit about Luci's value. F*ck pinvesting. Buy a pin if you like it, not because you want it to hold or gain in value.
Lol. "I'm into pinball." "Oh, yeah? What's your favorite title to play?" "Play? I just buy low and sell high." Lame.
Who are you to say I can't have an opinion...
It's just a word. And wasn't directed towards those who pinvest, but rather towards the act of pinvesting itself.
Quoted from dawasa:Some games we take big risks buying without ever playing the game.
Why would you buy a game you've never played? Or a car you've never driven? Or a house you've never walked through? That's crazy to me.
