Closed motors are common on older baseball pitching games and Bingo’s.
During a talk at the 2008 Expo Mike Patzke the owner of Multi products give some tips on lubrication of closed motors. I listened to the narrative and have listed his recommendations. He had slides that may have additional references to other suitable products but he never mentioned them. Thought this would be relevant as there have been other lubrication topics recently.
For replacing the grease use Magnalube (Teflon based). Never use white lithium grease.

For lubricating the bronze plain bearings (metal to metal) he recommends the 3 in 1 oil (blue can). Never use WD40.

The 3in 1 blue can oil (SAE 20 oil) is ideal for all open frame motors bronze bearings.
