Just bought a really nice example of TS. Looking to make it my own. I already purchased Aurich's package. Any help with what is out there as to toys, toppers and cliffy's would be greatly appreciated.
I had 2 "good" mods on my shadow:
- bricks decal on the back panel
- a spotlight on the mini playfield
other mods are crap
DMD Glare Guard or Bentplastic helps with the DMD glare on the mini playfield. I can help you install it.
There aren't many good mods for the shadow. The brick backsplash is good but the so called lost plastic looks better IMO and is super easy to install. ebay.com link: The Shadow Pinball LOST PLASTIC mod

I know of what you're speaking of. It definitely needs to be done. Thanks for the offer to help as well.

I like that better than the brick one. I'm probably going to pull the trigger on the topper on this page. So, this works perfectly for me. I didn't want to over due it with the brick theme in the first place. Thanks for the link

Oh yeah, that's a good one, the extra bass is really nice.
Quoted from TaTa:Are there any Cliffy's for this game? I looked at a couple of sites and found none.
Well there's this one (not specific to The Shadow of course):

If you've got money to burn you could also order up some custom grips for the pistol:

Of course the bone handles aren't true to the movie -- if you wanted actual mother of pearl I think you'd be looking at $500+!

I just ordered Jay's DMD Glare Guard for my Shadow, I like the fact that it's a bit more discrete than the Bentplastic and not horribly more expensive. Of course I haven't installed it yet so cannot comment on the glare reduction or how much it changes the look of the DMD.

Quoted from fuko:I installed a green DMD from XPin, and think it looks very good with Aurich's translite.
That looks great!

Oh nice. I actually spent some time looking at war gaming models online once, trying to find some higher quality sculpt replacements that I could paint, but gave up.

I like that mod too. but 45.00 with shipping seems a bit high .. If someone could post a scan of it or even a close up pic you could make your own for like 4.00..
This is what me and my buddy did for my backboard. I think it turned out pretty good.
