My RIpley's has started dowing something very strange.

The lower right flipper will flip up the way it is supposed to, but then it immediately drops, even if you hold the flipper button down.

The manual says that unlike previous coils, there is not a slam coil and holding coil. There is one coil for each flipper and the CPU hits it with a 40 millisecond pop when the button is first pressed and then hits it with a 1 mS pop every 12mS to hold it, as long as the button is pressed.

So far I have replaced U2 and Q16, with no effect. I have metered the flipper switch and used the switch test. Both say that the flipper is being pressed and held.

This has to have happened to somebody else. So how did you fix it?
