So I've been back into pinball for about 4 months now. Picked up three in a pretty rapid pace and have been enoying the heck out of em.
Bad thing is I'm in the middle of being in the middle of building a new hospital. Sooo needless to say I haven't had a lot of time to play.
So decided today was my day, no work, no family, no friends, just old me.
2nd thing I did this morning after coffee, was to open up and start cleaning my HS. Nothing huge just clean up the playfield, clean the rubbers, blow the dust out, make a few tunings.
THEN I spent the next couple of hours, waxing, goofing off, cranking up some tunes. Machine looks real nice now, got a good shine on the PF. Got it all back together, spent a quick few mins cleaning the glass up.
Then I fired it up. OH BOY! what a difference it made. Game plays awsome, but man is the ball quick. Like lightning, but once I got in the groove, the machine flowed like a powerhose. Glad I got a couple of cups of coffee in me.
It was so great that I had to call in the family to spend a few games with me, before I kicked them back out. They totally agreed that the HS plays wickedly now.
Just thought I'd share a quick tale. Its days like this that makes me appreciate the hard work one does, and the reward he gets out of it.
