Couldn't hear the awesome music on it even if it were here. I'm not digging the band. Here's a picture, try to beat it

I’ll give it a shot tomorrow.
Dude TNA would be the loudest game in there.

LW3 is loud!!!

Too bad TNA is not at the show. Probably the only game that could drown out the bands.
Quoted from knobstone:Yesterday was epic. This show keeps getting better every year.
The amount of really great games is fantastic, I am surprised there are no AFMRs (or AFM for that matter) here though.

I believe there was one there last night, but it was turned off.

If there is / was it was hiding really well because I've been all over the place multiple times since early afternoon yesterday. Could be in the tournament area as I've not been in there much.
Big shout out to say thanks for everyone that brought ganes, vendors, and the organizers. I got to play some uncommon games and talk pinball with some old and new friends. Had a good time thanks to you all.
My biggest complaint is that it is now confirmed that I must buy Houdini. It's not perfect, but it's really good. I didn't enjoy the new pirates, so at least what I want is cheaper than that. Scared stiff and attack from mars, for one of you your days in my gameroom are numbered.
Special shoutout to whomever brought the Atari super-wides. They must have been a real challenge to transport. I’m glad I got a chance to see and play these gorgeous behemoths.
Quoted from VDrums2112:Someone spilled something on butterflygirl24’s Joust... It was probably THIS asshole! Ya, little dude, we know you just turned 21 and you’re drinking a beer... Congratulations!
Say something instead of posting on the internet? I'd be pissed if that was my machine. Show him how to hide it behind the front leg or something instead....
A few thoughts from this year's Louisville expo:
Friday night was my family night. For the first time we all went: wife and kids. We had a blast and I enjoyed hearing the reviews of the games from the kids. Star Wars, WWE, The Getaway, and Guardians were the hits. Surprisingly, JJPOTC and Houdini did not interest them. They gave a "meh" after playing them. Louisville is a great show for a family and I hope it stays that way. As a parent, I want to say thank you. I know some F-bombs and such were probably dropped throughout the show, but honestly, I didn't hear them. People seemed to be very respectful and when you have your kids around, you seem to be more hyper-sensitive to this stuff. So thanks, guys and gals.
Saturday night I went by myself. This year I decided that when in line for a game I'd strike up random conversations and ask others to join to have multiplayer games. This created a great experience and I invite anyone who may be shy or not used to doing this to try it out. I got to meet so many cool people. Where else can you have nothing but pinball talk the whole time? I had so much fun meeting people and playing games with other people. And I'm not the kind of person who randomly starts conversations with strangers. Plus, it makes the game last longer when two or more are playing. I learned a lot more about pinball as well.
Quick reviews: I'm not going to review Star Wars because I bought one of the show games and am taking it home today...so obviously it was my favorite one there. But I was overall pleased at how people respected the games that were there. Guardians played great. I liked the shots. But the audio and media integration is lacking. Finally got some time in on Dialed in and that was a lot of fun. If the price tag were lower, I'd have brought it home. Shots felt good and the volume was up so I got to hear all the sound integration. I liked how it told you what to shoot for. Aerosmith was so much fun. I think I'll probably try trading a game for this in the future. JJPOTC was...ok. The prototype machine had some issues and unfortunately it dampened the experience. I talked to Greg from SDTM and he said the production machine they played in Chicago was much better. But from a first impression, it did not impress. And I was really looking forward to some magic from that one. Speaking of magic, I have to give a thumbs down to Houdini as well. It's beautiful...but for me that was it. Full disclosure...I don't really like magic as a theme and have no interest in the person of Houdini. I've studied about him in the past and keep wondering what the fascination is all about. The game has tight shots. I'm sure they are makeable shots, but I didn't make them. I only saw one person hit the shot that leads to the ball launch the whole time I was there. I played the game 4--5 times...each time waiting 2-3 back. I spent an entire game just trying to make that shot and bricked every time. I'm not the greatest player, but I'm not the worst. So for me, the lackluster theme (for me) and the tight shots ruin the toys and beautiful art package.
I had a great time. Thanks for everyone who organized it, brought a game, and came out. Thanks to everyone I shared a game with. I had a blast and you made the pinball community a lot more fun for me. And thanks to Larry from Flip n Out pinball and Marco for the new game! Your customer service and friendliness was outstanding.

I didn’t have to. Someone else did while I was standing there.

I happened to run into him while I was playing Airborne Avenger. His name is James Bruner, and he'd super knowledgeable and passionate about the Atari pins! Really nice guy, too! It just so happens that the Middle Earth he had there used to belong to one of my friends
I was only down for about 5 hours yesterday, but had a fun time catching up with friends! Sorry if I missed you, but was completely jet-lagged.
Also, was really impressed with Houdini. Would love to find one on location to drop in some dollars.
Really great show this year! Got too meet so many great people! Only complaint was the two ass holes......one with straggly long white hair who maxed out the players on every pin for just the two of them! Other than that I agree with Crile1 very good show and most people I saw were very respectful this year! Besides the unveiling of POTC this show was better then Chicago!
Quoted from VDrums2112:Someone spilled something on butterflygirl24’s Joust... It was probably THIS asshole! Ya, little dude, we know you just turned 21 and you’re drinking a beer... Congratulations!
Unbelievable. That's when I give the 2 options. 1. Remove the beer from the glass or 2. I Go get my pipe wrench out the trunk and let you pick your teeth up off the floor.
I was very impressed with this show. There were only two things that kinda pissed me off.
1. I had to tell some dude to have some respect and get his beer off of a pinball machine (not the one mentioned above). I mean really, if people are kind enough to load up their games and bring them in, have so f****ing respect.
2. There was a decent motorcycle arcade game there for sale. It was set on freeplay Friday night. I brought the wife and kids down Saturday to see if they liked it. If so, I was going to buy it. The owner had switched it to $.75 per game for the day. When I was already dropping $120 for my family to get in the door this just pissed me off. Needless to say, he didn't get my money.
Other than those two things, I was thrilled the whole time.

I brought a high end pin this year and all the people with drinks in their hand had me very worried. Hearing that there was an incident makes me second guess whether I ever want to bring a nice pin to this show again.

I had that happen to me also, was one of the guys a tall black man that smelled like pot? After they were done with the four player game the other guy started up another game and we said something. Didn't want to push it, because he was a very large man, haha. For the most part people were pretty respectful and taking turns, so that was an isolated incident for me
The drink thing can probably be taken care of with some signs. I'm not sure that many of them realize that it's a big deal or a "no no". I'll probably put cup holders on the games that I bring next year.
Just got my pins back home from the show.
The show was great! A great collection of beautiful and widely varied games.
Thanks to everybody involved in putting it all together, from planning and setup to execution and providing games. This year was the best by far.
Quoted from Hougie:The drink thing can probably be taken care of with some signs. I'm not sure that many of them realize that it's a big deal or a "no no". I'll probably put cup holders on the games that I bring next year.
Pin Gulps for the win.
Still the best mod money can buy.
Removes all excuses.
Great show and thanks to the organizers and volunteers for all their hard work. This was my first time bringing a game and I chose STTNG because Dwight was going to be there, I was a little nervous as the potential for problems with that game are well known but it held up like a champ with narry a problem. I forgot to check the audits to see how many plays it picked up over the weekend but I'll do so when I fire it back up. I do think the number of high-quality games was better this year than two years ago when I last went. I never saw anyone putting beer / drinks on games or rage tilting, etc. and only a coulple jackasses playing four player games by themselves. Also thanks to Butterflygirl24 and Larry for the accomodations in the Cincy tent, Casey and Justin for their help loading up, everyone else who brought games, and especially to Brazy for helping me haul one of the heaviest pins in the world up my stairs!!
Quoted from lancestorm:Ugg, I never thought about that. How many of those bringing machines do a Clorox wipe down post-show? I've seen way too many people at past shows take a #2 and not even wash their hands....
There's no nice way to say this, so I just will: that is fucking disgusting.
Quoted from Pinball-DOOD:The bathroom smelled like a zoo, man
I've experienced a lot worse than that at a lot of concerts at Bogart's in Cincinnati over the years!!
Quoted from PinballTilt:I brought a high end pin this year and all the people with drinks in their hand had me very worried. Hearing that there was an incident makes me second guess whether I ever want to bring a nice pin to this show again.
Naw the two I encountered on more then one occasion were two Caucasian guys.I had that happen to me also, was one of the guys a tall black man that smelled like pot? I've brought a game the past few years, but didn't this year. I planned to, but it's so much work taking one out of my basement, and I didn't have the energy once the time came. Big thanks to all who did bring one.
Quoted from bbhenry2000:The owner had switched it to $.75 per game for the day.
Is this even allowed? I thought all games had to be on free play. Maybe it wasn't retaining settings after a reset?
That was my problem with every EM I went up to. There was nothing obvious in place to add credits, so they seemed like they were just a big tease, and otherwise a waste of space. I didn't have quarters and didn't think I was supposed to need them. I was really wanting to play a couple of them.
I went Friday night and games rarely had a line behind the one person playing, so getting on a game was usually pretty quick. A lot of games had no lines. I once walked right up and played LOTR and the new Star Wars with no waiting.

This might have been my game. I can assure you I didn’t change settings. At the end of the night all power is killed and it reset setting. I was unaware until Matt said something Saturday night and then we loaded it back. Wish someone would have called and told me. Number was on the game. Would have liked to sold. I brought 42 games this weekend and I know a few lost settings at the end of the night. Sorry about that. Sure we could work out a nice deal if you guys still wanted the game. Thanks

Well, hell.... now I feel like a huge asshole. The thought never occured to me since I'm used to pins having a battery backup. My apologies. I'm sending you a pm
That bathroom was for sure foul by early afternoon Saturday!
I was trying to play Sopranos and a dude walked up behind me to wait in line to play it. He smelt so bad I had to drain ball 3 and leave the area!
It was a great show once again! I got well versed on repairing the Crane on Batman 66 Saturday mourning! Had to open the gearbox up on the motor and apply a bush fix. Can’t believe it made it the rest of the weekend. It was funny I had a Stern T-shirt on I won at the the Nashville Expo two years ago. People kept asking my me questions about Stern stuff because I guess they thought I worked for Stern. Lol!

I believe the Joust incident was isolated. The game has a flat top(still no excuse though). The PBR/Dracula guy was the only guy all 3 days that I personally saw with a drink on a game... And thank you for bringing your high end pin. I’m sure I played it. It was my goal to play every pin (that was turned on) on the floor and I’m proud to say mission accomplished!!!!
