Quoted from snyper2099:Ok I will. But you will
Change your mind once you see it. Have you ever played an unrestored Funhouse with 100k plays on it?
Pretty confident mine wont be for sale. I actually turned down $5000 for it last year. Of course it is near mint-restored condition with a CPR PF and LED'd out with LED-OCD controllers.
Quoted from Crile1:I haven't seen a list of games that will be at the show on the website. I think I remember them having a list last year.
I'd imagine it's a tedious venture to keep it updated and to keep accurate. I know in the past I've let Matt and Jeremy know what I'm bringing and for whatever reason it changes. (game went down, waiting on parts, etc.)

If it doesn’t have over 100k plays on it, who cares? You can’t fake that patina!
Since I'll be transporting my games via pickup truck, I checked the extended forecast. It's looking really good for load-in day on March 1st!
Cloudy and 61 for the high. 35% chance of evening precipitation... I'll take it!

Transit question guys.
I am renting this to transport 6 machines:
https://www.uhaul.com/Trucks/15ft-Moving-Truck-Rental/DC/
I chose this truck since it has an on-board ramp and less obstructive wheel humps. So how do you guys pack the machines in the truck? Any thing I need to know when strapping them to the wall? Anything else I need to know?
Thanks

Even the load of course, 3 on each side as close to the cab as possible. And I would use cardboard where the straps are.
Double check to make sure the truck has horizontal E-Strap rails though and the appropriate straps to go with it. Any U-Haul I’ve ever rented doesn’t have them.
I’m sure others can chime in with other tips and recommendations.

Quoted from flipnout1:Update on what we are bringing to the show.

11, yes 11 new Sterns for the show. That number may increase as the deadline for the show games is still a few days away.

I was planning on bringing Seawitch to the show...maybe I'll leave her at home to protect our certain insurmountable edge..
See u Saturday.
Quoted from ccbiggsoo7:is this show worth going too?
Absolutely. Ask yourself two questions:
Do you like to play Pinball?
Do you like to party?
If either of those is an answer of yes, go.
I don't have enough "stuff" to man a vendor table and I don't want to clutter up the party tent, but I do have a few spare odds and ends to sell/trade... if anyone needs the following, let me know I and can bring them to the show:
- Data East gen 1 lockdown bar
- Firepower plastic set (original, decent, unbroken, complete)
- WMS 6-digit displays
- Pinbot empty cabinet head
- Old Chicago pop caps (yellowed but presentable)
- GTB sys80 drop mechs (from Amazing SpiderMan)
I also have a couple of my custom stainless steel Space Shuttle NASA speaker panels available!
Please PM if you're interested in any of the above.
Quoted from Crile1:List of tentative games is now on the website! TNA, JJP POTC, Houdini are all on the list.
Cool, though it appears there is some duplication on the list of pins (I didn't look through the Arcade or Console games), i.e. Spring Break is listed twice (perhaps it deserves that distinction! ), Seawitch and Sea Witch and others. Still looks like a great lineup and will hopefully get better as I really, really hope someone brings an Alien!!
Spring break...ugh..have to walk my kids quickly past that one. That backglass is horrendous! Reminds me of the covers of so many '80's VHS movies in the old rental stores.

There's a Hardbody on the list too, those two games should definitely be next to each other!!

Quoted from Jones44870:Hi, I'm new too the pinball world. With that being said will there be games sold?
Yes and no. Arrive Friday at 2pm with cash in hand if you are looking to go home with a game. By Saturday, you will have much fewer machines available to buy.

If you are looking for a new Stern. Stern show games will be available at a huge discount if you pre-pay ahead of time.
Quoted from Jones44870:On there web site?
There will be vendors at the show selling games. I believe he is referring to Flip n Out. I would contract them. They have posted in this thread

Show game sales are no longer available. The cutoff was the 16th in order for us to get the games shipped in time for the show. You can always call us and buy NIB games that we have in stock and could bring.

So you don't carry any inventory. Got it.

So, I've decided to take the red eye from Seattle on Friday night and get into Cincinnati at 6 AM Saturday. I'm going to see if I can come down Saturday afternoon.......once I sleep!

Not true at all. We have a lot of Stern inventory right now. Need a GOTG, a SW, Aerosmith etc? All in stock. I can ship it to you tomorrow. Show game sales are a special deal we have with Stern. Because we are bringing 12 Stern games to the show for all of you to play we get a discount. Since the games will no longer be NIB and have plays on them Stern allows us to give special pricing. I have the same games in inventory but if I brought those we wouldn't get the special pricing that allows us to pass that on to the buyers.
But thanks for clarifying that for everyone.

I picked up 4 machines last year at the show. Looking to purchase some more again. What’s in the for sale arena?

Can you bring Portillo's for everyone?
Quoted from AUKraut:Anyone bringing any project pins to the show for a quick sale?? Would love to find a good SS or newer project, fresh off route untouched with some issues, or one that had been sitting in storage waiting for some daylight.
Wouldn't we all?
