Flip N Out Pinball is already excited about this year’s Louisville Expo! Make sure to set your calendars now and come hang out. Always a great show and one of the places you can get a rare sighting of a Greg Bone!

Have some PTO that expires March 15th, 2020 so thinking about making this trip. Question is, will there be tournaments again this year?

    #4 4 years ago

No major pinball tournament this year. We may have some smaller events ancillary to the show, but we just don't have the room to do a "proper" pinball tournament anymore.

We will have our fun selection of video game and console tournaments however!

Hoping to bring an El Dorado (possibly for sale if dibs are not called), and my UV-Time Fantasy... but hesitant to register either at this point as there are contingencies surrounding both at the moment. We haven't even arranged our lodging yet, d'oh!

And thanks for making the pass family-inclusive officially! I think most attendees will tell you my girls and I all spent almost as much time helping folks fix their games as we did playing, but enjoyed it all the same!

So... are there any announcements ready or pending, being the 10th Anniversary and for panels and whatnot?

    Coming soon! Very soon!

Ramada is sold out, unfortunately but there are other rooms available nearby.

Let us know if we can assist with anything!

    #11 4 years ago

This is a great show. Looking forward to spending Friday afternoon and evening down there!

I'm glad to see the prices come down a little this year. See you there!

How many pins are usually set up for the show?
    I've never been there.

In the 75-100 range if I remember right. I’m sure Corey has a more concrete number though.

I have an earthshaker and a robocop I could bring if any ones interested.

    #37 4 years ago

I mean I’m interested in playing it, does that count?

    #38 4 years ago

Prospector is a blast. I fixed one up and sold it to a friend and sorely miss getting both of those spinners ripping. Nothing like seeing (and hearing!) EM reels scrolling away like a rocket!

    #39 4 years ago

^ goingincirclez you should bring your Whirlwind. Been wanting to play one and never got the opportunity!

    #40 4 years ago

Anyone think I should bring my Taxi or wait until next year, I just picked it up a week ago and haven’t gotten a chance to even put it together to play. I did get to play it before loading it up, plays pretty good as is but haven’t had a chance to tweak It to my liking yet. (Spinout can hardly make 100k), 2 switches showing errors, topper missing. I’d really like to address these issues before putting it in something like that but there’s no way I can as I can’t set it up at the moment .

That's my "bolted to the floor" grail, plus my pin hauler maxxes out with two slots both spoken for. But there's been Whirlwinds at LAX in the past, so maybe again this year; the list of titles posted is only half of previous years' this close to the show, so hopefully more surprises are in store? But look me up at LAX and if you're passing thru Frankfort at some point you're welcome to check mine out!

You ever unbolt that one let me know! As you can see from my collection and wishlist, I like a certain type of game lol.
