Would be cooler if Winona popped out screaming about the lights. Lol

    #254 4 years ago

Wow that’s an awesome tent setup by Zach. Well done!

    #255 4 years ago

any Pinsiders around the tourney games area feel free to chat me up. Long haired ginger in the Mariners hat. Had a good time tonight and would love to meet other pinheads while I'm down here in the lower 48.

    #256 4 years ago

Whoever's Buccaneer that is, well done. That's my sleeper for day 1.

Yeah I likes it too. Was surprised. To stay in the pirate lane I was also pleasantly surprised by that Captain Hook.

Woah! I would buy the Beatles machine at the show from flipnout !

    #264 4 years ago

Whoever’s F-14 that was. I was having trouble with the lower left flipper having weak power like the eos wasn’t closed.

    #265 4 years ago

Great pinball selection here. Also, the various rooms with consoles, etc really put a smile on my face. Thoroughly enjoyed the LAN room setup with unreal tournament! I put an ass whipping on those 12 year olds!

Zach went bananas for this show. Incredible amount of effort was put into the flip n out area. Makes me tired just looking at it.

Watching him setup yesterday was pretty awesome he did it so casual.

Best show yet I feel. Disapointed every new game is Stern stern stern. JJP or AP would have certainly stood out in this crowd.

Im not educated enough to give the feedback someone else can, but I really enjoyed it. The integration seemed on point, and the shots were super cool. Seems like an amazingly well built machine, which can be expected with a machine of which only 750 are being made. Sound system was killer, but an insulator for the glass is needed as it was constantly rattling. RGB factory speaker lights, playfield lights, etc.

Some super cool "tricks" that I have not seen on other machines (maybe others have). For example @Viggen900 hit some shot in the upper portion of the playfield and almost INSTANTLY a ball dropped out to the bottom flipper and drained because he wasnt ready for it. Obviously it was a different physical ball which dumps out when a certain combo is hit, which I found really cool. Artwork is beautiful, and look forward to playing it more.

Hope to play it more today, assuming the lines arent insane.

    #273 4 years ago

Just an observation that really contributes noting (as if I ever do).

Yesterday I saw someone put a coffee cup on one of the brand new machines that was brought to the show. Does it not go without saying that this person clearly hasn’t an ounce of etiquette in their body? Even a clueless person should know better.

I almost got a Karen haircut and demanded the manager.

Rick and Morty is lots of fun. Put at least ten games on it last night. They are charging $1 per play and I kept going back for more.

Seems pretty basic at the moment. Start a mode with a multiball and profit. I know there are lots of more nuances to the ruleset but if you’re not concerned with that, it’s still plenty fun to play.

The game locked up a couple times but other than that it seems to be holding up well.

The spinner loop is super hard to hit right.

Just checked my Prospector after playing in early tourney. Left flipper dead. Lifted playfield and checked all connections from cabinet button to flipper. Nothing loose and I can manually manipulate the plunger. Could it just be a dead coil? Any suggestions appreciated.

    #276 4 years ago

What's the vendor area like? Are there many vendors there....other than Flip-N-Out?

Make sure no wires are broken at the coil/EOS. I can look at it with you but I won’t be back until like 3pm or so.

Does anyone have any flipper buttons? Mine apparently broke last night and I’d like to get the game back up and running.

Edit: found and back In business!

Dude you are a whack mad scientist, and that pin is almost the living embodiment of the WMS "junk yard" theme, but I mean that as a compliment because holy crap, that is an amazing effort and I am in awe that you did everything 100% yourself. Effing a, and I can't wait to see more!

Sorry I couldn't get it running, but I really feel good it has to be that coil (which nobody I asked around happened to have). That's a beauty of a Prospector and those reels SING... Thanks for brining it and it was great to meet you!
