I told Richard Widmark to "get the f_ck off the island" after I had scrubbed it down and squeegeed it dry at the Mobil service station in Westlake Village circa 1978..............he didn't say a word to me, just went and complained to the station owner, who I served with in Vietnam 10 years earlier. We had a big laugh about it while drinking beer after work that day. Good times.
