Besides sports figures, I haven't had all that many celebrity encounters. R. Kelly was staying at a resort where I worked and I had to stay late at work one night to keep the resort pool area open. The night before they took a door off the hinges to get in, so instead of kicking them out the General Manager decided that we should just keep it open and provide staff (me) to get them whatever they wanted. Didn't really talk much, but when he did speak it was in a very soft and high pitched voice. I actually talked with his personal trainer for most of the night. He seemed like a cool guy. Best part, I didn't get pee'd on, so overall, I considered that interaction a win. I was also on a flight from New York to Chicago with Flavor Flav. He had the big clock on and everything. He few coach and seemed to enjoy talking with people. Unlike R. Kelly, he was not soft spoken.

If any of you big shots are in the music industry, there needs to be something done where the industry honors "Weird Al" Yanchovic. The dude is a legend. I guess they probably just need to induct him into the Hall of Fame.

I think if I were to ever pay for a celebrity meet and great, it would be for Weird Al.
