Quoted from Cycloneman:ah,lighten up buddy this thread has been awesome from the start, when you asked about Mr.Ted a couple of pinside brothers were only pulling your leg/joking
Home? I have no home. Hunted, despised, living like an animal! The jungle is my home. But I will show the world that I can be its master! I will perfect my own race of people. A race of atomic supermen which will conquer the world!
Quoted from ImNotNorm:Ted....please tell me you have a picture with Chuck Norris.
After I kicked his ass, he said No Photos!
Quoted from CaptK:Dang, I remember seeing VHS covers for The Deadly Spawn at every Mom & Pop video rental store back in the day!
Damn Ted has his own Wikipedia page! Nice!
Hey Ted, any chance you have a pic with one of my favorite ( now sadly deceased) character actors from the 80s, Brion James?
Quoted from Frippertron:Love the thread name change fireball!

Oh yeah....for all you movie buffs! I just released Volume 1 of my new book series. CANDID MONSTERS. Behind the scenes photos from your favorite sci-fi, horror, fantasy and stop motion animation films. Plus interviews with Ray Harryhausen, Ben Chapman, Ken Tobey and an article by George Pal on filming The War Of the Worlds. The most fun you can have without being naked!

Ted,
What was Ray and George like? From all accounts, both were very cool dudes. I've seen Ray's interviews, but never saw anything with Pal. Did he know how much of an impact he had on us?
BTW, I'm picking up your book!
Quoted from Methos:BTW, I'm picking up your book!
Thanks!!
Ray and his wife Diana were the nicest, kindest people you could imagine. Ray was always fantastic with the fans. many times after a long panel he would continue in the lobby for hours chatting about film effects.
George Pal was the same. I was invited to go out on Pal's boat when I was in LA for the Film Market. Sadly I had screenings that day and couldn't make it. One of the big regrets of my life as I would never see him again. I hooked up Pal with The Hildebrandt Brothers and they were going to work on a project together. This pic is of myself with Greg and Tim. Sadly, Tim is no longer with us.

Hey Ted, what did you think of the creature in the movie "The Shape of Water"?? I loved it, such a fine line between the swamp thing and aquaman?
Quoted from MrBally:We don't have to use Kickstarter to get the book?!?!
Is this Pinside or some other site?
Presumably it was ghost-written by Dutch and Chinese contract manufacturers -- otherwise it's completely out of place here.
Quoted from Medisinyl:Ted has been making my father's parrot feel left out of the thread
Normally his parrot is with the celebrity, but in this case the parrot said, "Ralph La-Who? I only follow SUPREME."

I hope it don't kill a Creature From the Black Lagoon remake...
Robin should let you advertise here. I'd be surprised if many moderators haven't seen this thread. Time to throw a Pinsider a bone! I'm buying your book on my next Amazon purchase!
Quoted from spfxted:Thanks!!
Was your bird a Sun Conure? Many years ago, I had a Mitred Conure. Before that, I had several budgies/parakeets. Later on, I weaned/raised/had a Blue & Gold Macaw.
My current/only pet at this time is a greyhound. ("Lucy" is a rescued/retired greyhound from a track in Jacksonville, FL.) For anyone reading this...Greyhounds make GREAT pets!!!
FWIW...If I were to ever think about owning a bird again, I would probably seek out a Hyacinth Macaw. Unfortunately, they are VERY expensive!
Yes! A Sun Conure! Fantastic bird! My child. I wanted a Hyacinth but they need such a large cage. My favorite bird...
No Freakin way!!! Harrisson Ford

Looking Sharp my man!!! every girl crazy about sharp dressed man..
I cheated so I won't answer. I would like to know more about Michelle though. She looks like she was pretty cool.
Quoted from spfxted:Busy day! Thanks to all of you who ordered my book!
Three women, eh? Perhaps the parrot was trying out as a Hitchcock inspired James Bond villain here... (or perhaps the reason Austin Powers 4 never took flight [Flap Bastard])
Quoted from spfxted:Busy day! Thanks to all of you who ordered my book!
That's a heck of a cute blonde on your left....

I told you guys!!! Ted was a “banging machine” back in the 80’s and 90’s!! Here is the proof!! I can hear the girls now, “Oh Mr. Ted, I would do anything to be in your next movie.”.......“Oh Mr. Ted, what big hands you have.”
Quoted from spfxted:Ok...we'll start with an easy one...
