Lou Ferrigno Update

Teaser: He called me at school today. Luckily it's the last day of school, so I answered it while I signed kids' yearbooks. He told me the machine is going in the guest house ("Go left down the driveway..."), and that the machine has been sitting in the box in the guest house driveway since it came from Texas. Yes, we had those torrential rains that washed out Montecito since then.

He says, "I hope you know what you're doing..."
I say, "We'll find out together, baby."
He says, "Harumph."

T Minus 3 hours.

Lou Ferrigno was at TPF and the nice folks at TPF gave him a "imamaculate" Hulk pinball machine as a thank you, do not think it was part of the payment. (it was super nice I saw it and if you dont get that joke you need to check out the baywatch fs thread)

Hulk asked the folks who gave it to him if they knew anyone who could set it up. OP was the man who stepped up to the plate. First thread people started talking about how shitty Lou is to people with a lot of people chiming in agreeing that he sucks with their own stories. That thread was asked by its OP to be closed then fireball2 made the next thread which turned into the ted talk as Lou kept delaying the game set up.

Fast forward to today when fireball2 gets to meet Lou and set up his (potentially) water damaged solid state pinball machine

Ed did tell me they wrapped the machine in plastic before it went into the box, and I think there may have been plastic around the box too, but I'm not sure. Still... I hope it's not a mushy mess.

We's gonna find out in less than two hours...

Gotta go pack up tools and get pumped for the flex-off pic. Mebbe get some plastic bags for the salvage.

Give Lou a break, he probably has one walk on tv part and 5 weekends at conventions EVERY YEAR! He's swamped! Besides, the dude isn't in good shape. Probably not strong enough to move it onto a dolly and into the garage.
