I don't like LOTRs either as a theme, but at least they made some cool modes with a fast fun layout, its better than WOZ but I'm not a fan so ur theory sucks. Jesus if what makes u hardcore is thinking WOZ is gay then the bar is set real low around here. 
Also just because the guy wrote the code doesn't make it so, tell me please how these 2 pins are similar?

Oh ur wrong WOZ is apparently the successor to LOTRs I mean I don't know I'm too hardcore and didn't code these games so my opinion is irrelevant and so is yours. Can't wait to hear why ur opinion doesn't matter. 
Well I have the same question I guess, for me LOTRs is a pretty dark game. I mean the modes are all fairly dark and with the exception of the main theme music man its kinda evil. Now gameplay is not similar at all, not to me anyway. The layouts are polar opposites almost. 2 upper playfields and no upper playfields. Theme completely different in style, for a code enthusiast maybe theres some things that play out the same I personallly don't see it. Then again I don't think I care anymore.
