Shopping. a friends LOTR. He has had it 10+ years. I noticed when I start playing it says something like "UK skill shot" Is this a dip switch setting? Not sure if that is normal

ok double checked when it happens. At the beginning of balls 4 and 5 DMD reads: "UK skill only pinball"

any ideas?
