The best strategy I found was playing with the glass off. I seem to always get TABA when I do that.

I was playing last night and missed completing TABA by one last shot. I even received a 20 second time extension. That was the best I ever did on TABA. Reading some of these tips here has helped me get there and have the 2nd best game I've had on it to date.
