Hi,

I need to swap out the Q22 balrog transistor in my LOTR machine, what's the best transistor to replace this with? Would a IRL540 be o.k. ?

The picture is what's fitted currently.

Thanks.

No. Use either a TIP122 or TIP102.

O.k. I didn't realise that code was the identity of the transistor.

NOOB with transistors, tested it and it is dead, first time I have changed one.

Thanks for the help.

You may want to have a board repair guy replace this for you if you aren't experience in removing these from a double layered circuit board.
