Newly acquired LOTR, and couldn't be happier. But it's always a bummer to see you've come to the party late and all the snacks are gone. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that Jay is busy in his little hobbit cave producing more of these Projected Eye Palantir Mod's for everyone to enjoy.

Chances are this might not do you any good. Last batch posted on his website sometime in December (only 5 available) didn't even make it an hour before selling out.

I've been wanting one of these since late last summer and am resigned that I may never be quick enough to get one at the current production rate based on current demand. It will definitely be a crapshoot.

I have the utmost respect for the difficulty in making these and the design process, but I may be forced to make my own if I can come up with the right materials (been searching with a little luck so far). These have become somewhat unobtabium it would seem. I do wish Jay would at least announce if he's having problems with material acquisition, or just the time to make them. Or maybe it's just an LE mod.

I've noticed that Jay's website has been down for over a week (at least for me). @jrobinso99, is there any update regarding future availability of this mod? I know many of us are still hoping to get our hands on what is probably the best mod not just for LOTR, but for any pin out there.

Jay... any chance you could release the parts list and small tutorial for those of us that want to build our own? I'm sure we could source alternative parts since you are finding it difficult to find parts on your own.

In the past, the website has been inactive at times and then pops back up. Doesn't seem to have any relation to when the mod is available though. In any case, if more are made, it's typically been posted on here by Jay and then first come first serve.
