I now have one right in front.Was in multiball.2 pinballs smashed together.One went flying right into the globe =Bullet hole.
That is why the don't put glass inside a pinball machine.
I have a idea.The Cree led bulbs at Home Depot seem to be dipped in a rubberized protector after they are made.
I understand it will soften the image.But better that bullet holes.
Or maybe Jay could find a plastic ball for this mod.It won't look as good.But at least bullet proof.
It took me about 100 play to get a bullet hole.If a air ball hits the globe it will bullet hole.It could happen the first game or on the 300th.But it will happen.
Even with the hole.It still looks better than the original.
I wish it was tempered glass like the Playfield cover glass.Maybe that would stop the holes.
