Does anyone else have mylar covering the lower half of the ring radar? It seems the previous owner may have put this because the insert may not be leveled correctly. Is it safe to remove using the freeze spray method?

Is there anything simple I can do about the insert not being level?

I think the insert is sunken in a bit, not actually raised up.

Well I removed the mylar and noticed that the insert was not flush, it was sunken on the bottom side. This is why they put the mylar on there. My friend & I raised it level and used some water-based glue to lock it in place. We then also used the glue on top to fill in the gap that was there from it getting knocked around a bit. Some cleanup under the insert to remove the black gunk and we are all set to go.
