Stern, 2009LOTR - My Gandalf staff was broken, so this is what I did.
Sculpey (white), bamboo skewer, white acrylic paint.
It's a little out of proportion, but in the game it looks pretty good; far better than a missing staff, anyway.

Yes, it's a little too big, but it cost almost nothing.
I'll do another, v2.0, need to find a smaller diameter staff material to start with, maybe incorporate a white mini LED in the head.
Again, looking at that broken staff was driving my OCD crazy.

I have never played LOTR, so for a second, I thought the shishkabob design on the package was the staff you were referring to. I kept thinking, that's odd looking. I wonder why the designers did that. And then, I realized it was the art on the skewer packaging. Doh.
Nonetheless, I always love a solution. Good work.
