For the longest time, our LOTR has had a problem with its sword lock. The ball meets up with the post meant to stop it, and just...goes around. The post doesn't pop down or anything, it works correctly. It doesn't happen every time, and we've tried numerous solutions, but none of them have worked well. We've put foam pads up, but that seems to make the balls get stuck sometimes, plus it sheds all over the playfield. Anyone else had a problem like this with their Lord of the Rings?

I can believe the post is too short, but the mech has been taken apart several times and is fine. But I can totally believe the wrong post thing got stuck in there. Which would explain why nothing we've tried with that post has helped.
