Quoted from dung:Gotta disagree.
TWD is fun enough, but art is meh. Fan of the show, but the art style looks like generic hack n slash rather than walking dead. Also the sound package isn't amazing. Not bad by any means, but nothing to write home about.
LOTR's sound quality suffers for being white star, but the sounds are perfect. Also the quality of the playfield resolution is meh, but the style is great.
Right now feeling like TWD still gets love in part for being new. Gotta give it a few years for people to let the shininess of it wear off.
Nope.
Over time, I've come to realize that I simply enjoy Lyman's rulesets more than Keith's. Don't get me wrong, I think Keith's games are brilliantly coded, but for some reason I tend to gravitate more towards Lyman's. I had a LOTR and sold it because it was mostly sitting around collecting dust. Same with WOZ. It was a gorgeous game with a terrifically deep ruleset, but I never played it. I will soon be selling my TSPP to fund a MET.
