Not had LOTR long and just like to know if game is playing correct with regards to multiple game modes playing at one time?

If you have shot the ring and started a mode there (witch king etc)can you also activate a movie multiball or gollum etc at same time? Is this suppose to happen(or should it wait till mode finished) as sometimes its hard to keep track of your ring mode shots while movie multi lights are lit also?

Sorry hope im making sense,absolutely loving this game and the real pleasure is my wife LOVES it also!
