Diverter coil looks to be toast. Manual calls for 22-1080 with a Diode. I have a 090-5032-ND coil and that is what I'm seeing as an acceptable replacement. I just need to add a 1N4004 Diode and ill be good to go, correct?

If it's the right coil, yes. Just add the diode facing the right way and wires in the right spots.
