Help! I've got a Lord of the Rings and the display is stuck on the main screen - it only shows Stern Pinball and Lord of the Rings. The CPU board seems clean (no battery acid) and everything has been plugged in and out.

The game plays fine but there is no scoring display or animation - just the main screen. Same when I try to enter the adjustment menus - I can hear the button noises but the screen stays on the main screen. In fact, if I remove the ribbon cable from the CPU board to the Display board the main screen stays on - no change one way or another.

Stern and google searching seem to indicate U201 might be bad due to battery acid runoff, but I don't have that issue.

Any ideas where to start? I do NOT have any additional boards to substitute in and out, unfortunately, as I sold my TSPP.
