I ordered a new power supply board for my Bally Lost World, it desperately needs it, and have a question for all of you. As you can see someone eliminated the connector and soldered directly to the board at J3. There are 2 wires, one is white and one is orange that run behind the SDB and are soldered to the back of the J5 connector, so my question is it ok to leave these just soldered to the back of the SDB? I will repin and add a connector at J3 on the power supply board. Thanks in advance for all your help

Your text says J5 on the SDB but the pics appear to show the wires connected to J3 on the SDB.

Either way, best to repair both sides of the connector on the SDB as needed. You're waiting for the rectifier board anyway. Won't take long. On both boards, do one wire at a time and make sure what you see matches what's in the manual. Time consuming, but get them both done right and you won't have to worry later.

Thanks phishrace youre right its J3. I've been re pinning the MPU, looks like I have some more to do, now to figure out where those wires are supposed to go. Thanks
