Quoted from cody_chunn:The LotR I saw way back fitted with LEDs looked absolutely broken. The sweeping and fading that makes the game look so good is truncated by LEDs and looks terrible, IMO.
Well, that's just like your opinion, man.

It's all good. I'm fully aware of the split between the love and hate for LEDs. I dig the pop of color they provide and feel more and more that incandescent bulbs give the machine a dinge, musty look. But that's just my opinion. Plus with the newer Sterns coming out with LEDs, I've got a more consistent line up.
Quoted from jrobinso99:I have LEDs with OCD in both my LOTRs. The fading effect is pretty much spot on. The only way I can tell there is LEDs vs. incandescent is the fact that the inserts all look awesome and bright instead of dim and faded. I would never go back.
I can't recommend OCD enough, especially for LOTR!
