The lower left spotlight on my met pro keeps slowly rotating to the left. The lower right on never seems to move at all. I dont remember air balls hitting the spot. The light itself is screwed tight on the top of the post, But the entire post is rotating. Ive attempted to tighten it while keeping the spot pointed in the correct area, but it keeps getting loose...

I see similar designs on other stern tables. Is this common, or Met specific? Maybe its just my pin?

Any suggestions on how to get it tight so it wont spin. It would be better if stern would use a bracket with two connection points at the base.. But id be open to suggestions on ways to keep it from spinning as is.

Thanks in advance.

Not familiar with the game, so I can only give generic advice. Either add a lock washer or some blue Loctite (if it has a nut).

I have put a washer between the post and the plastic on mine and a dab of silastic on the thread, seems to be ok know.

Very common problem on the sterns

Quoted from terryb:

some blue Loctite

This is what I use. A small amount on the tip of the threads that stick through the slingshot plastic keeps the standoff from spinning. Another small amount on the screw at the top keeps it from loosening at the top end.

Awesome. Thanks for the feedback! Sounds like locktite it is.

Update. Last weekend i took apart the left spotlight and put a dab of locktite blue on the threads of the screws that go in both ends of the spot light "hex post". After playing about 30 games, it hasnt budged at all. Definitely the way to go. I also fixed the left side spot for the sparky flasher as it was very loose too. Good advice!
